One Hundred Years!
The current temporary exhibit, open from January to April 2025, places the history of the Museum of Northern BC, in a detailed timeline highlighting events in the history of BC and Canada, First Nations history, and the history of Prince Rupert. Artifacts from the different historical periods take the visitor back in time to remember eras so very different from today. Between its opening in 2024 and its present, the Museum’s collection of treasures, now numbering in the thousands of, have been exhibited in four locations, including its present location in the iconic Northwest Coast longhouse.
